Yea, surfing in some of the most toxic waters in the world is not my idea of a smart thing to do.
I hope they all kept their mouths shut so as not to injest any of that brown water. :S

ummm...yuck. The villages along the Qiantang River are called "Cancer Villages" for a reason, and they're surfing in it? That's a whole new level of dumb. There's a million tons of effluent a day pumped into this river. Killer waves, literally. :|
