05:30, people holding up a banner while their rocket starts. Why don't we ever see NASA staff do that on their launch pad?

The Bang Fai Festival in Thailand is on my bucket list for sure. It's essentially a national holiday dedicated to dubiously constructing rockets with Sticky rice and duct tape, and then trying to launch them into orbit without killing everyone within a mile radius. Quite possibly greatest holiday in the world. Seriously, if they just added presents it could rival Christmas in my eyes.
