I applaud this police officer's actions. Especially since a Canadian woman Emma Czornobaj, was found guilty in the deaths of two people that crashed into her car, after she stopped to help ducks on the road. While I don't know all the details in the case, she did break the law; it is very difficult to be harsh to someone that was trying to help ducks. I hope her sentencing is not to hard.

#1 there is a huge difference, this is an urban area, emma czornobaj stopped her car on highway, which is a criminal negligence of "animal lover" with 0 brain and common sense, combination which killed two people

do with your life whatever you want, but don't put others in danger

#4 guilty for stopping her car in a live highway lane, causing the death of two people, i'm not sure which part of "live lane", "highway" and "death of two people" is not clear?

#1 #3 #4 The human race has made it difficult for lots of animals to do and to be what they should, and if we don't have laws that balance these situations, we have lost our ethical and moral perspective. If the Canadians had built a green bridge and several fenses along the highway, that situation might have been avoided.

Please click on the link below if you don't know what a green bridge is.

When you hear about someone being given a life sentence for causing the deaths of two people on the highway, whilst trying to protect ducks crossing the road. It does makes you wonder if that is an appropriate punishment. I mean who is gaining here. Yes it was a stupid thing to do but come on :|

Had her car broken down, the two people would still be dead.... So what the point, she stopped for ducks or her car broke down. Somewhere the responsibility to stop is on the driver of the car, not the object in from to them.
