I thought this was a joke at first, somewhat disturbing. But this is the real deal isn't it. Scary.

Jibo the speaking giant web/monitoring camera!
I have no money to pay for something that can be used by someone to monitor me and my family!

It would be fun to have around the house I think ,
when it becomes available. Not cheap though.

Hopefully there will be some way for me to try it first, because it looks like a very well engineered and programmed device, but I have a feeling it doesn't work as perfectly as they show.

Just wait until these things get hacked and start taking pictures of your daughters and wives while everyone is asleep. If anyone uses this, I'm not coming to your house - ever. What a waste of awesome technology. Remember the stupid Furby things? They turned into possessed demons when the batteries were running low. Now imagine that + 10 years of AI progress - the damage these things can do within split-seconds... it's mind blowing anyone would even want this crap.
