I'd say why not, there is a human somewhere behind this who made the music, the software, it's just a representation. Like when some death metal metal bands play all masked.

Art is a really personal thing :) And they seem to enjoy this form.

That's not even a hologram. It's simply a projection on a transparent screen, clearly shown at 2:41, so from an angle it wouldn't be different from a corner seat in the cinema.

Don't you think that Lady Gaga has also something special in her talent?

@torbengb You are incorrect, they're using holographic projection which uses a screen (as you pointed out) that creates multiple images based on the your viewing angle... just like the hologram on your credit card.
