#5 Actually that's one of the many problems with the Hell story. I think you mean for eternity not the rest of your life by the way. You would need to be constantly growing new layers of skin and nerves to suffer eternal burning in Hellfire. Which seems a little complicated for a devil to achieve.

I mean where did he/she gain the skills to accomplish that feat of a biological miracle, God? seems a little unlikely don't you think.

So if you happen to be living with a religion where that is being held against your head to keep you on the straight and narrow!! take a walk on the right side and smell the roses, it's nonsense dribble.

Also can you imagine a nice God refusing you entry into heaven with the burning in damnation being the only alternative? Surly he would take a look either side of him/herself to see if anyone was looking and whisper "Look come in, I have a course you can go on, door on the left, then you'll get my point and you can join the rest" I really wouldn't want you burning in damnation for eternity, I wouldn't sleep tonight"

In one twisted religion you don't have to worry about going to hell....just behead someone
from a different religion or blow yourself up in a crowded marketplace of non-believers and
voila , off you go to some heaven , they are taught. ( The ones that teach that are never the
ones who try it )

What a moment! Doesn't that mean that the fire and brimstone is all a little unnecessary then? Surly some really difficult maths questions or constant listening to some awful music by Verdi would be closer to the irritation of a spirit.

As for the deranged who think that dying for their cause is going to make them not only martyrs but give them an entry into the evermore with an undisclosed quantity of virgins, well they have obviously never slept with a virgin, boring as hell itself generally.
