That looks to be a music box made by Reugen in Switzerland, very high quality and
rather expensive. This one probably sells for around $5000-$7000.
You can still buy them @ their website. :)

Neat, just saw one of these in Season 5, Episode 7 ("The Wedding";) of Little House on the Prairie.
