That was actually quite distressing....the Dog knows the fish are dying, he also knows they need water to live n breathe.......you could see him looking at the camera as if to say " WHY are you not doing anything?"

If this was 2000+ years ago that would have made it to the new testament. The parable of the dog and the dying fish :D

The dog is not trying to rescue the fish:S For him (looks like a male:P) it`s just food.. and alot of it, so he`s just trying to hide it. not doing a good job tho :P

#7 and #8 must be dog lovers; both are correct. I hope someone resolved this situation before the dog's instincts could cause him further harm. :(

Yep - my dog does this whenever he's given a bone.

#9 No way of proving split behaviour from a dog. A dog (some dogs actually not all) may well try and cover up a bone or some treat given to them, most actually will not, they will instead just gobble it down irrespective of whether they want it or not.

Some dogs do show signs of distress when faced with an injured animal or and especially their pack leader (often their owner). My personal opinion on seeing this particular video is that #7#8&#9 are incorrect, this dog was not showing any excitement of finding food he was being empathetic towards dying creatures.
