ok now show me a speed bump!

a good idea but fairly pointless as 99.9% of takeaway cups have lids.

Expensive pointless contraption that limits size of cup, or a lid?

Ships had these fitted in Tudor times, they were called gimbals then and were used to keep the compass steady in the swell.

I think people should focus on other things than drinking while driving, but thats just me. And as #4 points out, these devices have been all over for decades, so there is nothing new here at all tbh.

Why are people so obsessed with cupholders anyway? I've never used one nor did I see anyone else use it - at least not for drinks. Don't drink while driving. Stop, rest and eat and drink up, and go back to driving. Who keeps drinks open and needs a sip every other second? A needless distraction and a bad habit.

#7 Exactly...just like in the video: not a single drop was spilled, nor was a single drop consumed. ;)
