Alright, definitely nice for a fancy pants design school, but beyond that? It requires the physical environment to be build with the seats in mind. So the guy's ID card acts as a tracker? Now that's quite neat. Does it rank as awesome, though?

I wouldn't about using this for a chair. Instead use it for my grocery cart when shopping...now there's an idea.

My local library is frequently packed. In fact there's never enough space for people to move around let alone motorised chairs. I don't think this 'concept' would work there.

Perhaps you could use them at fancy pre-paid cocktail parties: One press of a button and the drinks table comes to you? :D
