Husband Proposes to Wife With 15-Year-Old Missing Ring

Lacey Butler’s mother lost her wedding ring over 15 years ago. Despite searching high and low for years, she had come to accept that the ring would never be found again. On October 26th of this year, however, Lacey’s dad found the ring stashed away in a small wooden box. #1 it takes me days to find stuff in my house even everything is in aplhabetical order. I totally understand them.

#5 Well..that wasnt critic..it was just a curious question, wich i wonder about too. They look clean and organized..i wouldnt think it would be possible for the wife to lose her wedding ring for 15yr. But the "how" aside..really cute way from the husband to present the ring that way..2nd proposal..with the first ring..after over 15yr of marriage. Knocked her off her feet.
Bet the daughter heared strange noises that night that she didnt heared in years ;)

Curious? You too? The text says Lacey’s dad found the ring stashed away in a small wooden box. The mom just forgot where she had stored it.
More or less implying the house was disorganized and dirty was a cheap shot. That room looked to be just a storage area.

#7 Who said unorganized and dirty? The fact that its organized and clean was what the question brought up. I understand missing keys or phone..but your wedding ring? Normally you dont take it off and put it in a box and forget it. Take it off for shower or work, but mostly put it back on when done. And even if you wait 2-3 days you should still know where you put it off last time. Im a very untidy person..i master my chaos..lose&find stuff from time to time..but wedding ring? And it was the wife who lost it..they notice right away when you dont wear the ring and ask about it. So its hard to get how it happen to completly disappear for such a long time.

C'mon Sizz , #1's comment was said sarcastically and was demeaning to
the mom.
As far as forgetting where the ring was she may have gained weight
15 years ago while having children and put it away because it was too tight then.
She was surprised that it fit , so that might be the story. ;)
