I am surprised that the weapon is even legal to possess in Germany with all their gun and
slingshot laws. It definitely fires the steel balls at lethal velocities.

#4 The laws are pretty weird..slingshots (no matter the size) are legal..but a slingshot with wrist support like this http://tinyurl.com/pmwknln is illegal. Also no hunting/fishing with bows/crossbow/slingshot..but bows/crossbows are legal to buy without weapon licence. But for an airgun (not bb gun) you need a licence. Also you can have a big hunting knife..but not a simple butterfly knife or one hand knife..
