That is exaggerated, this plant is very common in our place back in the Philippines and it's not too dangerous. Actually some people use this as medicine.

#1 The plant in the video is not just an ordinary nettle. However I wouldn't doubt that the host exaggerated for the TV.

#1 I eat the plant you just linked to... the food made from it is delicious!

#7 yes, the one #1 is referring to is called "kopriva" in my country, or "urzica" near the border with romania :D

#8 and in Sweden that plant #1 mentioned is called Brännässla, translation "Burning neetle". I hate those. Once when I was 12 yrs old I fell into a full bush with those, I didn't wear any shirt, that pain :'(

#28, the plant in the video is not a stinging nettle (urtica dioica), which is common in Europe and the North American continent and has medicinal and nutritional properties.
