Five A350 XWBs together in flight formations

The five test and development A350-900s took to the skies for a formation flight in September 2014, bringing together all of the aircraft used for Airbus’ successful campaign leading to certification of this latest Airbus widebody jetliner.

The footage is nice. The music is added for scale but tends to be over dramatic.

Considering the turbulance that aircraft of this size would be generating, that's pretty impressive.

radar id auto-tracking drones preview on larger scale. diamond, low pass, echelon, arrow, so it's the most fuel-efficient suite when running five PAX designed two-engines at 1,000 feet one another, no wifi syncing, no satnav syncing implemented, yet (just human error piloting allowed).

They are gone now but would have been amazed by this.
