Looks like a wounded bat struggling for survival with not too much chance of making it.

1:11 They call it "Transition from Aerial to Terrestrial Locomotion", really?
That's more a crash followed by a wounded bird crawling to me :x

I would also like to see his transition from terrestrial back to aerial. Can he do that?

I hope its cheap to make because I would only wait so long for the little critter to crawl back before I got in my car and drove home. >:)

#1 #2 yeah, I agree. They cut the clip shortly after the "landing" - probably they knew that it doesn't look very impressive.

"Adaptive morphology" (foldable wings) <---- using big words is not impressing me either.

Suggested video title: "A crashed plane that can limp"

So what kind of payload can it carry and how long can it stay aloft?
By the time they add a mini-camera with battery pack it will probably be
so heavy it will only be able to use "terrestrial locomotion". :D

Once I made a paper plane that could talk. Unfortunately it was made in pre-digital era so I have no recordings of it. Bummer.
