Slo-mo of an Apple iMac being destroyed by a 20mm anti-tank gun

The gun is a Lahti L-39 ,which is a Finnish 20 mm anti-tank rifle used during the Second World War. It had excellent accuracy, penetration and range.

I never understood why people enjoy breaking working stuff. When i don't want something I sell it back or i give it to someone in need.
When I want to shoot a weapon I go to the shooting range and I enjoy myself at the 100m or 200m range.
It has never came to my mind to destroy something just for fun.

If he wanted to try to prove the effectiveness of this 20mm he should have fired it at something with equivalent to a WWII tank armor and see how it goes through in slow-mo.

#4 Agreed - but considering that second shot, would there have been anything worth seeing? It was deflected a surprising amount by a glancing shot at thin metal. Against a tank, it would probably be fired from a greater distance; and either square-on or maybe at the tracks to disable it. The gun was either ineffective back then, or the ammo is so old it wouldn't have has an effect worthy of a video if used on armour now.

(i) The small skis under the rifle allowed the Finnish troops to pull the weapon with a rope over the snow instead of carrying that 93 lb beast. This rifle had no problem taking-out the early Soviet tanks and even caused much damage to newer heavily armored models. It could penetrate 28mm armor at 100 meters @ 70 degrees of angle.

#1 pakkohan se on juhlat taas järjestää.

To those who don't know, when you see that "torilla tavataan" (meet you in the town square) it refers to the extraordinary situation when Finland wins ice hockey championship, the country goes crazy, impromptu parades are (un)organized (in my town of only 35000 people and the progression was several hundreds meters long in both times it has happened..) and when the team returns home there has been a large party in the Senaatintori in Helsinki. For a country that is so reserved, having such behavior is just unheard off.

So we tend to use that line when ever Finland is mentioned in tubes, expect it to happen at some point... It's almost so predictable that you can call it a internet law: If the video has anything to do with Finland, someone at some point will put that line in the comments. :)
