#2 it's rather easy to understand since we are talking about smart hunting device, if you miss the animal, boomerang get's back, if you hit it you need to go and retrieve the boomerang and the animal, unless off course it's your neighbor, then better run like hell :D

For those you vote negatively the boomerang was not built for recreation. I was a hunting weapon for small game by the aboriginals. If you missed the animal it would return to you. The Aboriginals were a stone age people that made tools only for survival

#4. the Australian aboriginals use(d) a non-returning boomerang for hunting. It flies straight and can be aimed accurately. Returning boomerangs are used for leisure and recreation.

the boomerand is usually thrown above a flock of ground dwelling birds, as they rise to fly, the boomerang 'should' strike a bird and bring it down....if no6t6, you throw again.....maybe then. #5 you are partly correct
