Why doesnt the crab just snap off one arm of the octopus with his claws? Seems he should be able to defend himself

#2 The octopus knows to attack from behind and to keep its tentacles well clear of the crab's claws.
The crab never had a chance .......
Remember, the octopus does this for a living. :)
