#3 Yes it does.Venom has to be injected to cause damage.

Remember them from the farm in southwest New Mexico, they are amazing birds and fast runners. They don't fly far and mainly glide low to the ground. We watched one kill a small sidewinder so I knew they killed rattle snakes
