Impressive, question is how much more expensive building costs were to reduce the build time by roundabout 80-90% and how long before those 19 the production of the parts started.

From what I understand all the wall segments are produced elsewhere and have electric/air conditioning preinstalled. Germany experimented with building techniques like that in the 60/70's called "Plattenbauten". Some of the buildings build like that have windows inside the apartments, simply because all wall segments were alike. There were major problems with the electricity though, because you don't have one wire going from ground to top, but hundreds of segments where they are plugged together.

It's sad that the air pollution is so high that they present fixed windows as an advantage :(

If we ever need to build a large spaceship, we should ask a Chinese project manager.

They will do many things, one more impressive than the other until they will have the same thing that slowed down all the other once great economies: excessive debt.

#2 its easy to say that the indoor air quality is 100% better than outdoor if you are not allowing for opening windows (fixed) in the building. if I was never to open the windows in my house I could also say that my indoor air quality is much higher than outdoors, no matter where I live in the world...
