I got choked one time in McDonald's on a French fry. I thought I was gonna die for sure! Then I hit myself in the solar plexus with my fist and the fry flew across the room like a bullet. Good thing nobody else was in the room....it might have put their eye out! Thank God I'm still alive! :D

I guess if it doesn't work, you are in a very helpful dead position. I'm very surprised this isn't been bought (excuse the pun) in Resuscitation classes, I went to one just before Christmas and never thought to ask what you might do if you were choking and on your own.
