#3 Yeah not as in 'Leave her all alone to be sad and without friends' as in 'Stop picking on her' I have to say I am quite surprised at all the 'likes' of the negative comments to this video. There are far far worse singers out there and apart from anything it takes a lot of courage to get up and perform in front of a paying audience not to mention a street full of shoppers. (I've done both). Maybe all you sheep who voted up #1 comments ought to reconsider your own opinions. For future new viewers of this video might I suggest that you stick a vote down to #1 and a vote up for #4

Shes cute, shes got a good voice, shes having a good time while singing and she seems to have a charming personality. Shes not preaching or pushing political issues. Seems like she has all the qualities of a good performer to me.
But as they say, you can please some of the people all of the time, or all of the people some of the time, but never all of the people all of the time. Their loss. Sometimes you just need to learn to sit bk and enjoy things, vs critique everything constantly.
That said, I liked it, and don't care who disagrees.

#10 don't forget to mention "...fake screams from every move and sound she makes"
if you see her next performance for "her song" it would be exactly the same, that is why it seems so staged and empty
when you hear a singer first time, you either feel it or not, and for singer, "cute" is everything but a compliment
look at sia furler, or adele for example, you may disagree, but it's enough to hear a singer once to know if it is a good singer or "cute, sugarcoated bimbo"

Cute is only insulting if its implied that its how you got where you are, which is not what I was doing. I was simply stating my opinion. I liked her singing as well, as I made clear in my very next statement.
You can be anal retentive and harp on her abilities or lack there of, or you can simply sit back and enjoy the performance for what it is. If this isn't your cup of tea, move along. If it is, enjoy it. But don't pretend to be such an expert on the matter unless you feel you could do better, in which case, by all means, go for it.
Funny though, I've never heard of you before, and you would think I had, what with you being the be all end all of talent experts and such. Hmm, Simon Cowell, is that you?
And you are correct, I disagree. Just because an artist doesn't embody one song the way you seem to think should be done, that does not mean, by hearing that one song, that they have no talent and merely get by on their looks. Because u know, you're either perfect or a fraud that got by via other means, its always so cut and dry as to be definable based on one song.. smh...
And just bc I find her attractive, it has nothing to do with enjoying her music. You either do, or you don't. I did, while you clearly did not. So I ask, if you dislike it so much, why even bother posting, as if you are going to influence my opinion one iota? You didn't enjoy it, Sorry to hear that, tis your loss.

#12 thumbs up from me, not because i agree, but because your elaborate post
in any case, i don't like her performance, as you said, i'm not an expert, but you don't need to be an expert to like or dislike something ( it's enough to have an internet connection )
and to be honest, the song it's not that bad ( if you minimize the tab )
you can evan have a really funny 4:04 ( talent not found ) minute video if you turn the sound off and watch her face

#13 you are correct, you don't need to be an expert to like or dislike something, and I support your choice to not like her, but when you start throwing phrases around like "fake moves and screams" and "cute sugarcoated bimbo", you are passing judgement as if you are qualified to judge. Perhaps that should be left to the experts, instead of personally making empty, derogatory blanket statements that you, aside from your own opinion, have no way of supporting.
And thumbs up to you as well, because despite the debate, you made me chuckle

That kind of over the top forced 'soulfulness' has become so cliche that it's painful to listen to.
