I think that is a fantastic idea as long as the rest of the family does not catch on. Then they will be fighting for control of the pepper shaker.

#1 if you have optical visibility and know what tv they are using ( like i do ), you can tweak remote to boost it's range :D , there are also diy wifi and mobile jammers, that of course if you are an evil bastard :D

#4 Thats what i was about to say >:) Its a jammer..not sure if its really able to shut down a device without breaking anything..but you sure can shut down any connection and program your tv to it (like a multi remote) to shut it off too. Im willing to bet that this peppergrinder is real..but sure just made for the commercial, not for sale. Too dangerous if you grind pepper in public spots

Jamming is highly illegal in the U.S. if you shut down your neighbors devices too you could soon be going to a place where there is no tablets, cellphones. etc.

#6 I agree. It's sad that people must resort to technology to get their family to spend time together eating. Has anyone of ever standing up and just saying no phones, tablets etc during dinner. It is just who controls the technology not the technology that controls us. People do not have to be entertained constantly.

Anyone see the father that made his son destroy his Xbox because he got failing grades in school? A bit drastic but at least he wasn't screaming about NO WIRE HANGERS!!!
