#5 That is an immature black bear that has not grown its dark coat over most of its body.
Some black bears are also dark brown, brown, cinnamon or even white.

Oh okay, that's interesting, thanks #6, I didn't know that black bears only get their dark coat when they are older or have color variations. I know several people who live rural, who had similar encounters as this guy had.
