This is cool, I wished we'd have that over here, would help with childhood/youth obesity, of course some truly live too far away from school to be able to take a bike, but most of them could.

I never realised how special this would be to foreigners. Basically all kids go to school by bike, unless you live closer than a 5 minute walk or further than about 50 minutes by bike (which amounts to about 15km). Because The Netherlands has excellent bike roads (separate from the cars and pedestrians) and it's mostly flat as a pancake (no climbing required!) it just makes sense. Bikes are cheap and take little parking space. Picture the size of the parking lot if all these kids had arrived by car (not to mention the traffic jam).

They also have a very low street robbery rate. You can see the robber coming from at least 5 miles away

#7 Yea resulting in hundreds of thousands of bikes being stolen each year , many of them exported to other European countries. There was a special on tv about a year ago about the problem.
I imagine the bikes in the school lot are being watched over by the school.

Muenster where I live wins the ADFC Goldene Rad every year. Most bicycle friendly city in Germany.
Sounds almost like Utopia for bicycle fans.
Not if your in a vehicle driving through the city.
And before people start kicking off saying "take the bus then". Guess what I do for a living

My experience with school time in the Netherlands has been quite enlightening. It's a unique educational system with its own challenges. During my journey, I've discovered ghostwriter services https://www.academicghostwriter.org/ to be a reliable source of assistance, particularly when dealing with the complexities that can arise while pursuing an education. Having such support can be invaluable.
