My ex had a ferret, similar looking little fella. She could play with him any time, but the little devil bit me every opportunity he had.

#2 That's because he thought you were his bitch. Female ferrets have very thick skin and course hair and the Male bites them usually on the neck during mating and has to press really hard for her to feel it, you were basically being fore played >:)
