We need to see these kind of videos more often. The media only want to show the bad sides of most things because that what sells. But man this guy gave me a warm feeling inside. If anyone knows who he is i would like to drop him a thank you.

That's what in the scientific community called one case study. When you want to really study phenomena, and in this case social phenomena it really doesn't matter what happens to one subject of inquiry. The fact that one cop did not act up on one african-american proves exactly nothing.
There were more than one cases where the slave owner behaved in a pretty decent manner to his slaves, even as if they were real persons. Does it mean that slavery was not a thing, or that slavery could be transformed into something acceptable? Most certainly not.
If you examine closely and in detail the cases were african americans were abused or even murdered you'll undoubtedly realise that there IS a problem with racism in the US police, and it HAS to be dealt with. Otherwise it'll grow and bring more misery to the american society.
If you close your eyes the problem does not go away.

Although the man is inspiring and very level headed and I really like him, I unfortunately still have to agree with #7, a case study it is. Here comes the down votes...

#9 I down voted you because you asked for it.
#7 Although I agree slightly, the bigger problem with police is it seems like they treat a murderer and a jaywalker with the same extreme attitudes (sometimes). It's like they have only one mode in dealing with the public. They gotta learn to take a powder with your normal every day citizen and ramp it up obviously when it's necessary. Some situations take seconds to happen and humans make mistakes but it seems like they're often overly aggressive for minor infractions.
It's not always racism, white cops kill whites, black cops kill blacks, etc.

Hey..fair enough #10....I did ask for it . Still I agree with #7 though, but what you are saying is true too, i.e. shoplifting being dealt with the same severity as assault.
In my opinion what the guy in the video is saying is true...but in the grand scheme of things we still have this problem of racism, because he is describing the exceptions...
