#8 I've seen this video before and it used to be in black and white. It has since been colorized. In my opinion it makes the clip slightly more enjoyable.

#8 Technicolor film was invented in 1916. I don't know if this is a colorized clip or not, but the film was available and used in many movies by that time (such as The Wizard of Oz).

#10 actually, first recorded color movie was from 1902. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Color_motion_picture_film ( patented in england by edward raymond turner in 1899 and tested in 1902. ) :)

#12 Technicolor was the second major color process to be invented and was quite an improvement over the first. Technicolor became known and celebrated for its saturated levels of color and was the most widely used color process in Hollywood from 1922 to 1952. :)

#13 i was referring to #8 comment and the beginnings of color movie technology :) but you are right, technicolor was major improvement
the fact that almost all world war 2 movies ( actual footages ) are black and white often confuses people, and they think technicolor was invented later :)
