What a joke, yet another $4000 piece of equipment you'll need for your electric car. Just so you don't actually have to "plug it in". The reason is because people WILL FORGET to plug their cars in at night, and in the morning, they'll have to call the office and tell the boss that they can't come to work because they forgot to plug in the car last night. Electric cars are the worst idea in the last 100 years. Tesla has to add all kinds of gimmicks to get people interested in a $100000+ car that can't go anywhere that there aren't charging stations. Even if you find a charging station do you want to sit there for 4+ hours it takes to charge the car? How long do you wait at a gas station to fill up your car? Electric cars will never be any good in cold climates. It takes lots of battery power to make heat for the interior and that will shorten the range to even a more stupid distance you can drive one of these things. Good luck if you run out of charge in the middle of nowhere. AAA can't bring you a gallon of gas to get you to a gas station. They can't bring a 240 volt charging station to you and then wait 4+ hours for your car to charge. People will always screw up. It's human nature. Electric cars work well only in the mind of people who want to show the world how "green" they are. Fine, they can drive little electric ares around town and their local areas. For me, I want to drive anywhere I want when I want and not have to even think about where the next "charging station" is. There are hundreds of thousands of gas stations EVERYWHERE. Oh yeah, the pollution only happens someplace else(power stations, run on coal and oil) instead of at the car, so don't think you aren't polluting when you drive one of these, don't be such a dope, you are not "green".

Are you okay #9?

Short version of #9:
Electric car infrastructure lags well behind combustion engine infrastructure. After 100+ years of the latter and a handful of years of the former, who'd a thunk it?
Oh, and a bit about electricity generation, which ignores the trend of moving away from fossil fuels (i.e. energy stores that can only be utilized by liberating carbon into the atmosphere) and towards carbon-neutral alternatives (solar, wind, nuclear, etc.).
I'm not a huge fan of electric cars in general. I think a carbon-neutral liquid fuel system would be preferable, such as running methanol fuel cells backwards to produce combustible methyl alcohol using as inputs carbon-neutral electricity and carbon dioxide from the atmosphere, plus hydrogen cracked from water using more carbon-neutral electricity (or perhaps biological solutions involving engineered photosynthesis).

OK, so some of you think I'm a problem for speaking the truth. Looks like truth is now "hate speech" if it doesn't match your delusional thinking. I notice that none of you actually addressed any of the facts I stated about electric cars, you only attacked me and what I said, you did not enter into intelligent discussion and take on my facts. Many of you are probably very young and have not really experienced the world yet. Maybe some of you are true "sheeple" and will follow the crowd and not think for yourselves. Fine, you can put up with all the BS of electric cars. I'm glad that I'm within 20 or 30 years of the end of my life and I will never be a "sheeple". Climate change is a real difficult nut to crack. What is the #1 "green house gas"? Anyone know? Well, it's water vapor. It makes up over 95 +% of greenhouse gasses. There is NOTHING you can do about it. The tiny 3% that CO2 makes up is also impossible to do anything about. The majority of CO2 is NOT from man made sources. I've been in the scientific community for longer than most of you have been alive, and have been studying Climate change for the past 25 years. It is not something we can do anything about, no matter what you are told by people who have only their monetary interests at stake. More power to you with electric cars. I hope you all well, and that you enjoy driving extremely over priced vehicles that do not perform the basic duties of today's internal combustion cars. Oh, yes...have you noticed how the latest cars are so clean that they almost take the argument away from the anti-polluters.
Anyway, I'm fine and living a great life. I will not be back, so you are free to think what ever you are told by people who only want your last dollar.

#16 Thumbs up. Stick around and keep up the conversations on things that really need to be said. Solar activity has more to do with our weather and "climate change" than anything else, and there isn't a damn thing humans can do to counter it.
A hundred years from now when we are in a cooling period scientists will be wondering why we commited financial suicide trying to alter natural earth events. Sheeple just nod their heads and move along like good little sheep.
Ps where are you from?

It does not #19, if you look carefully... ...
Not only that #21, but the words before and after the scream, could not be any clearer than that.. ....
