#1 Welcome to living in other countries, not everyone can afford the luxury of safety like we do. People get creative, something that most people lack now or days getting too comfortable with today's luxuries.

As a rock climber with knowledge of ropes & gear I have to say there are definitely safer and easier ways of doing this.

#3 but they can't afford those ropes and gears. The piece of ladder is cheaper and they don't have the knowledge of rock climbing. Nor can they even afford to take a class in it or experience it. If you go to the country you'd probably be the 1% who knows/isn't afraid to climb rocks lol.

#2 but I thought we were running out of ideas

I don't know how old this is but that guy is probably already dead. But at least he died comfortably in his pajamas.

#5 we are running outta ideas on movies, stories, and youtube, thats why most of em are recycled . I don't think you kinda understand what I was referring to. This idea was probably done before too and nothing new but to many people it is because they've never seen it. People get creative in many ways when it comes to life's hardships.

All those short sections of ladder tied end-to-end looks completely safe to me.
