They're making a new album but I don't know when it'll be released. Its weird to think I've been listening to this band for 20 years. One of my favorite songs they made was American Idiot

#3 Good for you! I wish all people in this world could be as perfect as yourself. Do what you will with your music interests, but please don't bad-mouth someone because of mental health issues. Try living on the streets of a major city for a while, and you'll see just how "perfect" you really are.
Some geniuses have mental health problems, such as drug or alcohol addictions, depression, bipolar disorder, etc. It doesn't make them a bad person. So to say that the singer is some kind of lout because of his issues, is really just a substitute for your failures in life.

#4 agree with you...people that have mental health issues often "have" them because they were brave and took the responsibility to seek help and now have a diagnosis that sticks with them for the rest of their lives, when actually you look around, and can't help but noticing that some of the most "normal' and "successful" people you know should probably be the ones seeking help because their behaviors are crude and appalling.
The ones seeking help and working through their issues, which is a life long commitment, deserve tons of credit, those who walk all over other people don't.
Yes, I know there are many somewhere in the middle.

#3 And why are you mixing two things together that are not related to each other, one does not exclude the other...the fact that you don't like their music should have nothing to do what they do in their private lives...Mozart was an alcoholic and created amazing music...Tchaikovsky was gay and created amazing music...some of the electronic dance music performers are on ecstasy, but their music is great...some of the best statesmen had affairs but were still good statesmen...see where I'm going with this?

I mentioned living on the streets because I have; no mention of him. I never CHOSE to do so either. I have met a shit-load of people that are truly smart, wise, beyond their years age-wise, but also with mental health problems.
If I had a stroke or pulmonary embolism (the latter I had last year), you could/would feel some kind of sympathy/empathy for me because you could see the physical part. But if I was to tell you that I was suffering from depression, or an alcoholic or drug abuser, you would (more than likely, according to your synopsis) think that I'm a dreg and shouldn't have chosen the pathway.
Again, I commend you on your perfection!

And yea if some group uses their platform to promote socialist political ideologies then I do not bother to listen to their music. BJ supported the current and worst President in our history twice which is very close to treasonous.
