Very powerful, great film!..Reminds me a little of the book "Dune" by Frank Herbert. Thanks challenger 451! :)

Reminds me a lot of the movie Snowpiercer... in that it seems to me like a shallow, not terribly well thought-out and generally dumb movie, that because it wins awards or has a high rating in good websites, makes me think I might be the dumb one for not getting it.

... I mean, a pyramid that glows in the desert... a kid that can casually jump off a building... paper books being treated like they are today, in a world with, as far as people know, no more trees... yea, no.

Fair enough #2...true, things are left open for the viewer to decide, nevertheless I think the Major Idea ;) in this film makes sense..

I don't see the point of this, what is the message here? That humans destroy everything? The world is doomed? Kids have a sixth sense for finding trees? birds in the future will glow in the dark or asteroids have seeds on them? This seems just like a rambling piece with no real meaning, and nobody is better off having watched it.

Dammit Nature, you should have waited a little longer until no humans were left to destroy you again
