Actually its not even good. Cute in a strange way, but not good. The point is to control the blade, to stop it abruptly without any motion forth or back, which is pretty difficult. All that moving around is very easy, even for a little princess.

#1 #2 it's a practice blade get off your high horse :P she trained really hard and has an insane amount of control and discipline. Stop trying to bring her down thinking you know what's best. :squirrel:

Funny...
Just as #14 said..its a practice sword (could be made of wood too)..no intend to use it as weapon. Its just a tool for display of discipline. No intend of hurting people. I bet she is more trained to not use any weapon at all if needed to defend, compared to some people that cry for gun laws. How many people get shot..how many people trained on a sword use it in real life?

And whats a weapon? I can do as much damage with a simple wrench as with a sword. And why are 30cm kitchen knifes not considerd weapon? The 4 professional kitchen knifes i have are as sharp as a katana..even my little swiss army knife is sharp as hell and can be bought at young age.

In this exercise you dont teach a kid to use a weapon..but to handle it well and be disciplined.

Every move she is making is mimicking an actual fight against multiple attackers. Her moves all simulate cutting,slashing and stabbing an opponent to death. I have no doubt she could use her skills to defend herself if need be , and even a dull practice katana would cause some serious hurt to an attacker. Hopefully she will never be in that situation.
