Clearly a good sized fire and obviously a chemical plant, in China, and your first thought is to record it with your phone? From that distance? WTF. What ever happened to common sense and the urge to flee / evacuate? Chemicals and fire = toxic smoke = run away run away in my mind and not 'lets record this'. Yes #1 people are 'stoopid' What ever happened to self preservation instincts?

The alarm means "RUN!" I wonder why he kept filming there so close ,the fumes can't be that good. But still awesome footage.

I'm no firefighter, but it's been my observation in life and in industrial survival training, has been that the main use of water is a situation like that is to cool down a tank that has not exploded yet. It will cool and run away to make room for more cold water. It has limited application as a fog or fine mist on the fire part to absorb heat from the flame. Foam goes down low on the base of the fire to cut the oxygen supply. Are there any PROFESSIONAL firefighters paying attention who actually know about this stuff. If so please correct or comment!

Wonders what happened to the people on the other end of the fire hoses (clearly seen at 20 seconds) spraying the tanks when they blew up???
