I've found that all girls are secretly jealous of my good looks, wit and sparkling personality.

When the line is long in front of the ladies restroom and none in front of the men's room I will, and certainly have, use the men's restroom...no one has objected yet...women sometimes forget that men's rooms have stalls too ya know... ;)

What mockery of a woman this is. It's like what they're saying in this clip is how women have always been. This is the MODERN woman they're talking about which is more of a caricature than anything else. If you want to throw blame why things are like they are, start with the media.

"You can't ... you know ... lean on your bros for support".

That's new to me.

#7 A lot depends on the individual, a confident woman is okay to be who she is, despite societal pressures and norms...I'm not always there either yet but I'm aware of the potential. A lot has to come from inside :)

The sexiest most attractive woman to me is the one who embraces the fact that they're different and isn't afraid to be feminine/womanly, after all dating a dude is just disgusting to me. >:)

#8 But the woman you describe would have it a lot easier if she wouldn't have to fight against constant brainwashing, that convinces her she has to worry about this or that imperfection and that she can buy something to get rid of it.
A lot of the pressure in our society is structural. Some jobs (like in finance) for women require them to walk in high heels for example.

#10, Yes I totally agree with you, it would be tons easier without the pressure, that's why it helps to have confidence and a certain amount of self esteem, because it helps to some degree to be able to withstand the pressure. Many women learn it with age and maturity. I think that a woman can be self-expressed and different and still be sexy and feminine without being a product of societie's demands. But you're right, kirkelicious, the demands are immense and start at work with dress codes that are over the top at times in the US as well. Glad I work in a field where it is okay to come to work in "pjamas" and comfy sneakers... ;)

#8 I think it all has to come from within, and the realisation that the freedom and permission to be ourselves comes not from society but from our own beliefs. We all, as individuals, contribute towards society's norms.
