Aren't lobsters orange/red only when they are cooked?

#1 Bright red when cooked, yes...but they come in differnent colors while alive..brown, grey, reddish, blue, black. They wont be as red as when cooked..but they come also in orange/dark red (california red spiny lobster)

The dog is lucky those aren't Maine lobsters with the huge claws.
That would be harder to train for.

#5 You are very mistaken. Watch the first lobster try to escape backwards with his tail just as the dog grabs him.
The second lobster throws its legs up just as the dog grabs for it.
Plus you wouldn't want to cook and eat a lobster you found already dead anyway. :S
