What a heartfelt story...and believe it or not, my family and I just got back from errands and I just gave a guy on the corner like $3 or $4 bucks....all we had to share with him....you thought by his actions that we gave him a hundred....makes you feel all good inside.

The actions are very good to inspire people but the intentions of the video creators for these videos now or days are fake to make $.

Most people had discussed this video and the community itself has found that it was faked and there was exposure videos.

I could easily make one of these videos, throw it up, fake it, pay someone and make $$$ for just sharing these type of social media.

But if you really have no intentions of making money then you help those in need and let them share it between themselves and feel good for yourself.

The sheeps are easily fooled. Yes I do know this and have experience myself since I set up a random animal channel before and had plenty of views. The situation can be quite lucrative especially when it comes to views on youtube.
My answer to getting rid of these stupid videos? Everyone should make one and compete each other and make $$$

I can't share you how much I make on youtube but its in the 4 digit range on my animal videos and now iam doing gaming which I am steadily climbing in viewers myself with honest work and the hard way. I am very comfortable with what I make on youtube also and I also give to charity myself big time. Also the production of this video is not 2000$ but 200 at best.

The shady shit here is the fact that people are taking advantage of social media to make money by using lies and this in turn affects those that are IN REAL NEED.
The fact I'am trying to point out is that of course people deserve money on youtube for doing good deeds and of course making people feel good is nice. But the fact is that the homeless guy in this specific video isn't homeless and that the fact that it was set up IS shady. That is what is wrong here.
Another thing also is that it was setup and not everyone who saw this video knows this based on analysis, exposures and eye witness accounts to the incident. So how can you feel Happy about seeing something that is completely fabricated? In a book/movie sure it can make us feel good but how can you feel that way finding out it was set up?

He has other videos up also and the intentions are already quite clear and obvious. $$ makes the world go round.
I have nothing against youtubers showing off giving away money or social experiments as a job because there will always be people who fall for it. I have problems when the video itself is a fake. He will probably do more good with the revenue but the fact is those people will lie to get to that point first. Good intentions or not

yeh this case it was all a setup. they faked a good deed, filmed it, trow it on youtube and made sjitloads of money. even if the money went to charity, people still get scammed with a fake"what-will-happen-video".

I don't understand how some money are going to help these people? It reminds me of that old saying: give a man a fish and you feed him for a day, teach the man to fish and you feed him for lifetime.

It wouldn't surprise me if this was video was fake but it doesn't matter the point still stands true. There are a lot of homeless people out there that don't drink or do drugs, they are just victims of a terrible society.

It's just that people are people, flawed in every way. I'm not talking about the homeless - but rather you and me. We are the real problem and it might make you feel like you're doing good by giving money and yes, in a small way it does but it won't last. It just gives you a false conception that you did a good thing. How you really help the homeless is give them a job, longterm solutions. It's nothing a single person can do however. It requires the government to stop in on a grand scale. They won't do it because it costs money and at the end of the day that's always the problem isn't it. Money.

We live in such a dream bubble, when this bubble burst it won't be pretty that's for sure. I just hope I won't be around the day that happens.

I'm familiar with that area, it's notorious for homeless "scammers". If you want to help, give to legitimate organizations or churches.

obviously fake from the start, but seriously, it's not a good idea to give homeless people money, in case it's used on their addictions which are keeping them on the street in the first place.

Give water, or food. never give money, or clothes.

@12 exactly, its better to give donations to organizations instead that are aimed at helping those homeless people back on their feet, to get a job, get a home and come.

Hence why I donate to legit charity groups instead.
