Not sure why I still don't have organ donor on my driver's license, but at the next renewal it will go on there too, because it is the biggest gift one can make in a lifetime. Respect to that young man who helped so many people.

Good video, always thinking about it. My reluctance is if I'm in an accident I want the doctors thinking about me, not my organs. It'll be just little ole me laying on that table against some connected rich person or worse some idiot politician, I know who'll win.

I hear your concern about the organ donation, but once dead, always dead...so I don't think there is a need to worry...but yesterday a good friend of mine said it is disappointing that a nurse (me) is not an organ donor and that hit home, because it is true...but why am I not a donor, I asked myself?...Maybe deep down I am not okay with my own mortality yet either, even though I think I am...anyways I will for sure put organ donor on my next renewal..I am now committed...

#7 if I'm dead I don't care, it's when I'm on the fence and in the back of their minds a reel is running, "let him live, but look at those organs!" I'm not making a big statement whether or not doctors and healthcare officials are corrupt, but I do know human proclivities, and let's just say they're far from honorable. How many times do we hear about celebrities or those connected jumping to the front of the transplant lines.

There's a large demand and as such the prices are high. I believe technically you cannot sell or buy organs in the US, but there's a million ways to compensate someone.

I understand your fear, believe me, we all fear those things, me too, even though Gift of Life is a very reputable organization, but like you said people and their leanings and biases are not always trustworthy.
