so if i understand correctly they make people play a game in front of other people so they can pay for the education of their children ?
Is it only one year or the full package up to high school diploma ?

Anyway learning should be free and cost nothing, only the capacity of one to get a grade should be a limit.

I hear they do the same thing in North Korea only it's for food and water.

#1 US has public education that's free. Some people choose to pay for a private education. Typically private schools provide higher grade averages, test scores and college/university acceptance.

It would be nice if all learning was free but, those teachers expect salary's, buildings need to be maintained and supplies are required. "We" all pay, it's not free.

#3 if the state, i.e. all of us, pays, then learning can be free.
Imagine state school being funded with more money, but thats not what the highest 2% of the country want, because that would mean their children had to battle the other 98% for good jobs in the future.

#7 I could never figure that out either, but it's a very common occurrence and to me very annoying, regardless of the reason... :S

Its a private school [not charter] and yes you pay tuition, anywhere from 6k to 10k a year. Yes, they get a better education because private schools don't have to put up with un-discipline kids. Yes, the still pay property taxes for public schools

I'm thinking technically the bounce wouldn't have counted but from all the screaming they kind of had to honor it.

Public education is not about the children, it's about the adults. Look at the decisions made, rarely is it in support of the kids, it's usually to protect the adults.

Reminds me of Idiocracy where the hospital slot machine jackpot prize was 'healthcare'.

The mother is fat and should not eat food soaked in sugar.

#1 the reason people pay for education is to escape those who dont value education. There are enough videos of (US) school anarchy resembling the chimp enclosure at a zoo.
