30.000$ Gaming Rig
A bit long, but shows how far technology has come: 7 people playing 7 separate games on one single PC with one single CPU with 7 separate monitors. This is being done thanks to creating several virtual machines on one physical machines.

I wonder how much would it have cost if they would just buy 7 complete PC's with same graphic cards, same ssd drives, same processing power and bla bla bla...
Using the current prices in the netherlands, i think it would have been cheaper by a lot to build 7 standalone computers with the same power or more as any of them VM's.
Nice concept and awesome virtualization idea anyway.

2 cpu's, not one. nice crazy custom job though. I wish I had that kind of money, even from a sponsor (and enough people to come over to play with to use it )

I probably would have gone with some Corsair RAM, Samsung SSD's and eVGA Nvidia cards. I'm not really a fan of Kingston for performance and I would never personally use AMD/ATI given their history of driver problems.
Then again I suppose when you're building a $30000 rig, some sponsorship helps to pay the bills and when you need a custom block to fit your cards, then you have far less choices.
All in all, that rig is pretty freakin' cool and if it were mine I'd be pretty proud of it. I wonder if he gets to keep it?

Don't know much about gaming but this is what I took from this:
- 7 gamers on one CPU!
- CPU - central processing unit
- SSD - solid state drive
- GPU - graphics processing uni
Still don't know what any of them really mean, but appreciate the video nevertheless.
