A real "hacking" scene could never be in a movie. It will be a guy setting a bunch of scripts running then going to get a cup of coffee. Or, at best, a guy doing research on a particular person in an attempt to socially engineer the password. And it would take hours. You'll never find that in a movie or TV show.
I just wish they'd stop using IP v4 addresses like 387.421.899.275.
And I also wish they'd stop pretending to drink from obviously empty cups.

Hello!!! Has no one seen Mr. Robot https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nJNZF3LR0VM The basis of that show is accurate hacking he even says that its not like in the movies he needs to troll people to get info about them before he hacks.

#4 I agree with what you say about the process, but it needn't take hours. There is a decent "hacking scene" in the movie Blackhat, where they deploy a phishing attack... nothing too outlandish. Incidentally, that might be the most realistic hacking scene I've ever seen in a movie / series... =)
