Wrong, we don't have the planet. Planet has us, and if we want to stay here. Something has to change. Planet will stay here even without us. 8-)

#3 the latest calculation I read was that if we detonated all nuclear arsenals at once on a single spot it would only leave a huge crater and shift the poles by less than 1 cm. The 2004 eartquake is estimated to have released 10^22 joules of energy - more than 100000 times the energy even the biggest nukes pack. The fallout and nuclear winter is another story. To rephrase #1 with George Carlin's poetic words on saving the planet: "The planet is fine! The people are fucked!"...
