#2 Cheers Nokster! Excellent follow up to the first video. He reminds me in a way of one of my Uncles who was in the Royal signals, he had a visit one day from the radio regulatory dept, seems he'd had a few complaints about pushing to much power through his CB radio ( supposed to be 4 watts...2 watts ERP ), anyway...they turn up and want to prosecute without checking his radio etc so he invited them in. Cutting a long story short his radio was a home made one...with two valves, it was pushing exactly the amount of power it was supposed to, AND it had been legally approved by the RRD ( and had letters confirming that ), the fact he could be heard about 10 times further than other radios was (legally) besides the point!

I would like to bring Printer cartridges into this discussion and more to the point the fecking manufacturers of Printers who bring out a new model twice a year and change the shape of the cartridge for no fecking good reason other than to be awkward. This used to really grind me until I discovered a printer that takes cartridges that I can buy for around 40p each.

It sais on the back, it contains lithium ion cells. But when you open it, you can upgrade it for a few buck. Posibly the chips are expensive.
