Real life prison break! Inmates escape Canadian jail by helicopter

Footage has today (March 17) been released of two inmates at a Canadian jail put on their own version of "The Great Escape", fleeing Quebec’s St-Jérôme jail by clinging to a cord attached to a helicopter.
Two accomplices hijacked the helicopter and forced it to fly to the jail.
The two men were recaptured a few hours after their escape.

...and it was heard that as the prisoners escaped, the prison guards as the waved farewell, were politely saying sorry to the escapees for keeping them in prison.
