The moon size is just an optical illusion due to the references we are taking in the foreground and the surrounding light. I don't think this is unexplained.

Sailing stones have been explained, they are caused to giant plates of ice that forms on the ground, which reduces the friction between the rock and the ground, allowing them to be pushed by the wind.
