Turbo Encabulator is a fictional machine whose alleged existence became an in-joke and subject of professional humor among engineers. The explanation of the supposed product makes extensive use of technobabble.

You can even hear at 0:57 how it effectively prevents side-fumbling! This was one of its most marketable features. But, of course, scientific progress is inevitable and nobody uses wane shafts anymore. And yes, the government actually bought four of them, over the course of 2 years.
