#1 That's the ting about these things, always something more, less or different.

To be fair I didn't need to notice the person leaving the game and the curtain colour change could simply have been part of the lighting as I'm colour blind. I also didn't notice how often the white shirt players blinked or which hand they caught the ball with or what colour hair any of the team members had, or if they had lace up shoes or were wearing trainers. I saw the Minkey though.

I caught everything but the curtain change. Unfortunately. I also only counted 15 passes. (ooops!)

In about 30 years or so we'll see videos like... OH so you saw the gorilla, the one leaving the bench, the color in the background BUT did you see that one girl had black shoelaces when the video begun?

I saw the gorilla, the curtain and the player, and got the right count.

Now I'm worried...

Saw it all, but.. By pass 5, had already lost interest in counting. I guessed 18 though (figuring 3 ppl, 6 passes each), so was close And yea, have also seen one of these types of videos before, so was already alert to the trickery

Saw it all, counted correctly. That's because I was really alert knowing the nature of the illusion but to be honest the first time I watched a video like that you could've changed the chair beneath my ass and I wouldn't have noticed.
