If this one gives any offsprings that get used to walking upright like him / her, we might see a 'Rise of' Planet of the Bears movie in real life (after some generations...).

it's lovely to see how he has adapted to overcome his challenges and he seems to be living well too. I suppose he does more more foraging than the "average bear" (hey, hey BooBoo) but there's plenty to eat on a forest floor.

#3 I agree. Front paws seem injured. Poor guy. Makes me think if the people that have seen bigfoot have actually seen a bear walking like this.

#4 If you read the subtitle above it explains that he has a permanently injured front paw and the other is missing.

I'll never complain about low back pain again he must get it quite bad. I wonder how he sustained those injuries? Please don't tell me he was caught in those horrible bear snap traps.

I do NOT want to meet whatever did this to his paw.

#6 and #7, it seems as though the poor bear got hit by a car. Bear trapping is only legal in the State of Maine, due to the inhumane nature of it (as you mentioned, JJ), and many oppose it there too....
