This Kelly Springfield Road Roller has been undergoing restoration for the past couple years. This marks the first time it has steamed up since the restoration.

#2 Yes! Especially when you look at this machine, then look at the machines they used to make that machine. Back then this steamer was a serious investment because of the time and labor that went into making each individual piece (by the hands of a skilled craftsman) not mass produced.

It really gives meaning to the saying "they don't make em' like the used to"

I have an antique canvas evaporative cooling drinking-water bag like the one shown hanging from the roller @ 0:08.
Ah the good old days. Hang that thing on the front of your car while on a trip and then just pull over now and then to take a cool drink. :)
