BCI Tumour Biology: integrins and metastasis
Integrins are cell surface adhesion (sticking) proteins that allow cells to interact with the environment.
In cancer these proteins can "misbehave" and this can contribute to the development of cancer, and to cancer spreading (metastasis)

Can we cut these 'threads' with modern medicine? Those attached to proteins?

#1 There is very little humour involved in the subject of cancer or it's devastating effect on our bodies. It is a pointless process and the sooner we get on top of it the better.

#4 JJ, I think #1means just that, as you did, with his comment, that the music and cartoon like approach makes cancer look as something adorable rather than something serious.
